Daniella Blechner- author of Mr Wrong

My name is Daniella Blechner and I have written a book called Mr Wrong  after a decade of bad luck with the opposite sex. I no longer make a secret of it and claim it to empower others. I am putting together a collection of stories and experiences written by women who have encountered Mr Wrong. The aim of the book is to empower, inspire and unite women by sharing our stories. It’s time to stop blaming and berating ourselves by getting  rid of Mr Wrong and claiming Mr Right!

This book has resided inside me from 2008. It comes from a chain of unfortunate events and experiences with Mr Wrong.  Before we start I want to make it very clear that we are not here to berate or batter Mr Wrong for we are all on our journey to completion and wholeness. These men still have got a lot to learn about how to have a healthy adult relationship and we must respect their journey. However, unless you want to keep offering yourselves up to be their guinea pigs then please read on.  Here you will be able to identify the many shades of Mr Wrong and perhaps recognise some through experiences of your own. By identifying them we can recognise them more easily when they present themselves and make the conscious decision to set out for Mr Right instead.

Mr Wrong cover 1600x2560Do you ever feel you will never meet the right man? Do your relationships suddenly come to an end leaving you in a wake of dust wondering what just happened or what you could have possibly done to deserve such a swift exit? Do you attract the same type of man repeating the same negative patterns and situations that leave you thinking, “Here We Go Again?” or “I’ve been here before?” Are you dating men who love you and leave you leaving you emotionally wounded and insecure, wondering why you didn’t cut the mustard? Well, ladies, I have news for you. You do! You are simply dating the wrong man.

I’m not talking about the everyday relationships with it’s everyday trials and tribulations, I’m talking about men who are  emotionally unavailable, The Mr Dreamers, Mr Serial Liars and Mr Ex  Factors who are not ready or able to Love yet. As women we tend to blame ourselves as to why the relationship turned sour. We are plagued by persistent thoughts of, “What’s wrong with me?” “Why do I always feel used and abused when the relationship is over?” “Why haven’t I deserved an explanation or even the respect of an adult conversation (one that doesn’t consist of “it’s not me it’s you” or “I just haven’t got time for a relationship at the moment” (only to find he’s dating someone else two days later.) Let me be very clear; there is NOTHING wrong with you, you ARE worthy and you are very much DESERVING of love. You are simply dating Mr Wrong.

Mr Wrong is a collection of witty and powerful real life stories written by women who have encountered and overcome the infamous Mr Wrong. It also contains success stories that celebrate men as well as stories from men themselves. Do men get a bad rap? What role do women play in creating Mr Wrong?

This book is designed to help you identify Mr Wrong, free yourself from the negative cyclic dance of attracting men who are unavailable and set out on a positive path for Mr Right. This is not a man-bashing book, far from it, but encouarges women to question and take ownership for their decisions and choices as well as examine, question and challenge negative believe systems we may have about Love, Relationships and most importantly: Ourselves.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”- Einstein

  1. HI – me again. I just added your link to my blog roll. I hope others will read it and learn from it.
    good luck.

I’ll be sure to link to you directly in my future posts about relationships and marriage as well.

  2. In case you don’t get back to Reluctant Medium, I wanted to leave this message for you.

Absolutely you can publish an eBook later in print form. Amazon’s CreateSpace allows you to print-on-demand. Which means books aren’t stacked up in your garage or a publisher’s warehouse. It does have a cost where publishing an eBook is free on Amazon. Here’s the URL for CreateSpace: https://www.createspace.com/

Amazon has a publishing community and there are others, where you can get help and support including: http://www.kindleboards.com/index.php/board,60.0.html

    Best of luck, GG

  3. Hi! you will be glad to know I FINALLY got around to giving you the bloggy thank you you deserve. Wrote about it in my most recent post.

Once again – thank you. Really enjoying your blog too.

  4. Hi, I came here via Marie Friddle. I’m happily married and met my Mr. Right much later in life. I never had a problem being single or meeting Mr. Wrongs (some I’m still friends with). It was all a learning experience. There are a lot of great guys out there, but I’m so glad I finally found a great guy for ME 🙂

I truly feel there is a Mr. Right for everyone. My two cents is that as soon as you realize you’re not with the right person, just leave him/her immediately. Don’t worry about people calling you a heart breaker or player or fickle (I’ve been called all of it!) no matter how many notches in your belt you have … this is what dating is about, discovery, learning, and finding out what you want. The end result is the biggest reward you can imagine. And a good marriage only gets better and better with the years! Good luck with your book 🙂

  5. Thank you so much Marie! A lovely review. I think I will reblog.

Seakist thank you so much for visiting my blog. I think you’re right and I wish so many other women would have the courage to get up and leave too. I think there needs to be a definite distinction between being with Mr Wrong (the wrong man) and being with the right man but working through issues together. If he’s simply not the man for you, ie in no way able to meet any of your basic needs, wants and desires get him packing! I’m so glad you’ve found your Mr Right. Would you like to contribute to the book and give him some praise? I’d love to know how you met him, how you maintain happiness in your marriage. We could learn a lot from you. 🙂

  6. You gave a really good synopsis of your book. Sounds like a winner! I wish you the very best in all your endeavors.
